Sunday morning - dog with a suddenly swollen muzzle. Pawprints were very quick to see, friendly and thorough, and very reasonably priced for a Sunday.

I’m updating my previous negative review to a positive one. A while ago, I took my dog to this clinic and unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience that night. However, I recently found myself in an emergency situation and, albeit reluctantly, returned to the same clinic. This time, the experience was completely different – and in the best way possible. My parents took our Cavoodle, Ruby (8 months old), to PawPrints because she had a rough afternoon. She was going through her first heat, had vomited once, and her tummy was making strange gurgling sounds. When my parents came back, my dad told us, “Things are not looking good for Ruby” the same words the vet had used. My mum was crying, and I panicked. I love Ruby to bits. Awful. We had to say goodbye to our precious girl and dealing with this organisation made a sad situation far worse, and traumatic. Our girl was taken from us on arrival ( despite me saying I would like my husband to nurse her) to insert a catheter and then we waited for a good 20-30 minutes while they “ tried to find a vein”. We pleaded to be with her to no avail due to “ policy”. The VET told the VET NURSE our request, and was told it wasn’t possible- we could hear the conversation. Very pleased and they just charged a peace of mind fee not the full one which was very lovely! Thanks again it is so nice to know there’s a vet open after hours up the hill.
