Cannot recommend Dr Hunjan enough. Both him and his staff at the Smithtown office are the most caring empathetic medical professionals I have met. Every step, from intake to surgery to follow up appointments Dr Hunjan has listened, communicated, taken any concerns seriously and always showed empathy and respect, which can be a difficult thing to come across. The girls in the office are always happy, positive and helpful with any paperwork I needed for work. I truly cannot say enough about the care this office provides
I've been a patient of Dr. Hunjan for years. I have a skin condition called hydradenitis suppurativa(hs) for short. There was a period of my life I would constantly get these "Flare ups" and they hurt and limited my mobility. I have gone to other hospitals and saw other doctors before knowing or getting a diagnosis from my dermatologist and before meeting Dr. Hunjan, I was shamed for my condition, and on top of it, they did do an IND, but I was wide awake, and it was the most unbearable pain imaginable worse than child birth... read more
Dr. Hunjan is a really nice man, but wish he did a better job with his surgery. Had him preform a mesh repair for an inguinal hernia in October 2022 and I have had pain in the area ever since. In May of 2024 I noticed a small bulge in the area and went back to him. I was sent for a CT Pelvic scan that revealed everything was fine and still in place. I told him the bulge does not pop out when I am laying down (I was in that position during the CT scan and was told to push, even though nothing pops out when I do that). I expre... read more
