I just want to inform you guys of my experience with the fireballs I just received. After ordering and being excited for the arrival I took them crappie fishing . Crappie wouldn’t touch them with jigs . So I decided to bream fish and try them out. They wouldn’t bite , just played with them . I pulled out the old dough balls and caught fish after fish . Tried the fireballs again , nothing . When I opened the jar there is no scent other than a rubberish smell but the dough balls have a strong bait smell . I’m just disappointed... read more

Great products which I use daily while guiding on the Great Lakes. What can I say, they work! Bait + brine = salmon, that’s it! I use of combination of Fire brine, Fire dye and Fire cure when preparing both Anchovies and Herring for salmon and trout fishing on Lake Ontario. I also apply Pautzke scents when fishing with bait alternatives like trolling spoons and other hardware to increase the number of bites in an outing.
