Always a pleasant experience here!! Karen and the staff are wonderful and really go out of their way for their customers!! Can’t say enough good things about this orchard. From the store, to the events, to the play areas… everything is great and we love to come here frequently!
Mt Airy Orchards is a wonderful place for fall apple picking. My family and I took advantage of their free, plentiful parking to pick apples. We left with multiple varieties including Fuji, Cameo and Golden Delicious. The Cameos are my personal favorite. Their check out process is easy to do with fair pricing. What’s the purpose on adding a “u-pick” when you gotta buy the damn apples anyways ? ….1 ticket can include 2 times going down the slide…y’all act like you have a slide that belongs in Hershey park or something. And to limited how many times we can go down from the ticket cost? Y’all are ridiculous. So what happens if I just want to pick the apples and not buy? I mean my ticket does say u pick. Doesn’t mean I have to buy them. So I just thrown them on the floor ?
This place was so much fun! Me and My fiancé and his 8 year old son went. We drove over 45 minutes to come. We picked our own apples and pumpkins! Its such a beautiful place in the fall. Their baked goods are amazing! And the popcorn was delicious! My favorite was the pumpkin roll. I enjoyed picking my own apples. We Got so many and at 1.69 a lb. Can't beat that. I loved it, cant wait to go back.
