Edit: this review is old yall and things are not the same. Had to lower my stars. I hate to tell you how good this little hole in the side of a gas station is. But best fried chicken in the state, maybe any state! And the side dishes are a country loving happy place!
Breakfast at Paul's Diner was exactly the kind of classic comfort food I was hoping for. I ordered eggs with crispy bacon, hash browns, and pancakes, and everything came out hot and filling. The pancakes were fluffy, the bacon had a nice crunch, and the hash browns were golden around the edges. The portions were generous, and the relaxed diner atmosphere made it an easy place to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Left home for 7 years and came back and had to try this gem. Holy smokes! Best damn steak I've had in a long time! Generous portions, good prices. Friendly staff. I cannot rave enough about this small town restaurant. The food slaps EVERY time. Went back for breakfast the next day.. felt like the holy spirit had stirred my grits himself. I love this place!
