Came to Carlsbad for vacation from Nevada, and my starter went out! They informed me instead of replacing whole starter and spending more money, just replace the cylinoids, IT WAS FIXED IN LITTLE TO NO TIME HONEST MECHANICS HERE AND VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. IF YOU NEED FIXIN ON YOUR CAR, BRING IT HERE. DEFINITELY GOIN IN MY GOOD MECHANIC BOOK 🫡. THANKS
What a great business! The owner is the salt of the earth, not out to just make money but to be honest and simply fix things, I only wish there were more businesses like this. Old school, honest and reasonable. I’m very happy I found this place.
one of the worst experiences I've ever had doing business in over 30 yrs as an adult. He fixed only a fraction of the problem and overcharged. ....and who gets all five star reviews? I suspect he's having his friends place them.
This place is great. These guys do superb work and you can tell they really care about your vehicle. Good prices too. Had a bunch of frustrating electrical issues on my 1980s 4Runner and they fixed all of them. They even called the day after I got the vehicle back to follow-up and make sure everything was working ok. Never had a shop do that before, pretty awesome. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone.
They live up to their reputation, spent over $2,000 over 5 trips at complete car care in Encinitas to identify an electrical problem with my O2 sensor and brought to Dan at Paul's Auto Electric who found the problem quickly for a hell of a lot less than Complete charged me. Not only that, the guys are great, want to understand all the details so they know what path to take in diagnosing the electrical problem.
