I need to get down to Carlsbad soon! Pauline's Fashions are awesome and I always get complements when I wear the dresses I have purchased there!
They have an awesome selection of really cute clothes here - no need to shop out of town! I found some lingerie for my friends lingerie shower and even earrings for my wedding. They have a great selection of reasonably priced jewelry and accessories. Oh & I can't forget the CORAL boots!!! <3 them! Definitely a place you don't want to miss. ***Support Carlsbad and Shop Local***
Purchased shoes and wanted to returned due to the fit was not comfortable. Their store policy is no cash refund only store credit or exchange. The store clerk and owner were very unfriendly didn't acknowledge i was very dissatisfied. Now i know why the store has always been empty. Never seen customers there. I will pass the word not to shop there. I won't.

Hello Rosalee, we are very sorry that you were dissatisfied with your purchase. Our policy is not uncommon for retail clothing stores. Several merchants in town have the same store policy, as well. The signs are posted in front of the cash register as well as on the wall above the jewelry as you stated in your other comment. Pauline's Fashions has been proud to serve Carlsbad for over 36 years.
