What kind of service is this? I called because your office called and cancelled my husbands surgery, stating you were waiting on insurance. Insurance that he HAS and USED when he was in your office weeks ago. He has Cancer and has to have this surgery IMMEDIATELY! I just spent 58 mins 30 sec on hold, going from 20th to 17th to 14th back to 17th to 14th to 10th, then I was hung up on. Was scheduled to have a procedure and told not to take my daily aspirin for seven days before surgery. I stopped it 8 days before. They used it an excuse to cancel surgery and told me that my cardiologist advised them to do so. Complete fabrication and untrue according to my cardiologist. He said it was beneficial to the surgeon to stop 8 days before. Left message for Dr Toomey with his assistant Lacey to call me. Left another message a few days later. I found Dr. Toomey to be professional and caring. The office staff was efficient and my appointment was on schedule.
Horrible experience. Ghosted me at hospital after his PA told me I was having surgery. Then said we'll you consulted me, and your other doctors have no clue what they are talking about. Unacceptable behavior. Take your $$ and business elsewhere. Worse experience ever.
I found Dr. Toomey to be informative but rude...I had a hiatal hernia and he won't fix it because I'm overweight... but not overweight enough to have a gastric sleeve. So I've been living 3 years with painful Gerd to only be referred by my new doctor to a new GI practice that said that's ridiculous. Also acted like I was someone that can't control their eating when it turns out I have hypothyroidism and that's why I gained weight so quickly and so much.
