My review seconds Kimberly Hunter's review below. Paul Sueno is extremely abrupt in his manner. I found him to be totally dismissive to outright rude. (I am a 73 year old female. It's perhaps a case of patient profiling; but this does not excuse his behavior.) At one point in the exam, Sueno wanted me to "Go stand in the corner." I found Dr. Sueno and the staff in his office to be very kind, personable, professional and helpful. He offered a thorough exam and was able to diagnose my back pain in the first visit to see him. I was amazed and I highly recommend Dr. Sueno!
He was rude, arrogant and disrespectful. It was obvious he had preconceived notions that I was drug seeking, which is strange since the first thing I said was that I was not wanting narcotics or any scheduled medications. His notes were not accurate including documenting a physical exam despite him never touching me as well as him discussing things with me that never happened. I am sure Medicare paid him for a physical exam. Total waste of time for me.
I felt listened to when I had my appointment with Dr Sueno. He was informative and personable. He appeared very skilled at what he does. I pray that the US medical/insurance system doesn't corrupt that.
