He was very nice from my first visit with him. He listened to my medical problems and made a plan.He took time to listen to me and didn't make me feel like he was trying to rush out of the room. After my surgery he saw me in the hospital and explained everything to me. Would recommend Dr. Lafond if you should need surgical procedure for hernia. I'd already had multiple hernias and received treatment in another facility outside of this area. He fixed what id ask other drs to fix for the last 15 years or more.
Worst appt ever. Front staff so rude. Was a Friday morning. No one pleasant or even nice. Medical assistant that took me into the room was the only nice person I encountered. I was 1st appt and still waited 45 min. He reviewed info my PCP sent and then proceeded to throw away my patient info in the regular trash HIPPAA?? During appt he took a personal phone call and didn't offer apology. Then he proceeded to recommend meds I've been on 15 years ago that DID NOT WORK. So why am I back tracking. Wonderful staff…I was experiencing some symptoms, Rhonda spoke to me about my symptoms, ended up admitting myself, after testing, put a stent in my “widowmaker”, was 90% blocked. Rhonda most probably saved my life, at the very least a major heart attack, I may not have lives to tell my story. Thank you Rhonda. Dr. Prokopchak is also wonderful.
Dr. Deb has been my wife and my doctor for many years. He has performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy on us both. He saved my wife's life by discovering malt lymphoma stomach cancer soon enough to allow successful treatment. He also discovered an enflamed appendix on me during a colonoscopy. An appendectomy was completed by a surgeon the very next week...he saved me much pain with his discovery. I recommend Dr. Deb to all friends and family!
He is very caring and thorough. Listens to your concerns whether great or small and addresses them.
