LGBTQ+ folks! Homophobic and sexist. Refused to acknowledge my questions and concerns as the wife of a prospective patient, also a woman. Literally pointed to me and shouted, "I don't want to hear anything from you!" Became irate when I suggested that an MRI would provide information about a hypothetical crack that might have indicated EXTRACTION and IMPLANTS. Dr Pai is AMAZING, his office staff is AMAZING, the entire team that supports Dr Pai is AMAZING. I suffered with tooth pain for 4 days resulting in basically no sleep. I was scheduled to see Dr Pai on Thursday but Wednesday am his office called and fit me in. From the moment I walked in to the office, I KNEW I was at the right office. Dr. Pai did an excellent job for me in an emergency dental situation. I was very comfortable with his communication, explaining everything clearly, which is what you want from a doctor. He was upfront about risks and benefits, and my choices. While working on my mouth, he was gentle, focused and thorough, showing me afterword exactly what he did. His assisting staff were comforting and the office staff were kind and accommodating. A 5 star Doctor!
I was shocked when told that the root canal he had just performed cost $2100. Having had two others months before I was expecting to pay $1000. $2100 for one hour of work is outrageous. Not sure why my dentist recommended I go to him. Never again.
He asked me to sign a contract, he was paid upfront by me and failed to bill either insurance policy’s my family has. He than sued me for services, plus interest. His level of incompetence, financially is astonishing. Don’t use this Man he has no honestly or integrity.
Dr. Pai was suberb ,he was professional as well as caring ! He explained the procedure ,with all the pros and cons! In a manner that was understood. I felt comfortable the minute I walked into office and met the lovely staff. I highly recommend.. Thank You Dr. Pai and staff.
Dr Pai, is still as good, as he always was. I went to him many many years ago, when he was at 695 Dutchess Turnpike, in Poughkeepsie. I just went back to him, for extensive work. I had 2 root canals done, 1 redo and another one, both in the front lower teeth. He was gentle, kind, he explained everything to me, about what he was going to do. I am very pleased with his work.
Dr. Paul Pai performed not one, but two emergency root canals on my molars over the course of about a year. Each time, he was very nice about fitting me into his schedule, knowing that I was in great pain. No one wants to undergo this procedure, let alone twice. He demonstrated great skill. I'm Asian, so I have an extra canal in each of my molars. To my surprise, after each procedure I felt no pain. It wasn't until the next day that I felt some soreness, but it was easily controlled with ibuprof
