5++++ stars. My child has been to the hospital 10 times with the same symptoms. Dr. Nordness was the only one who figured out the cause of my child’s pain and operated on him immediately. If it weren’t for this great doctor, my child could have died. So grateful for Dr. Nordness. He is very compassionate, kind, understanding and brilliant. The only negative thing I can say about him is he wore a Vanderbilt sweatshirt but guess he earned it as he graduated medical school from there.
Would give him more than 5 stars if I could. Excellent surgeon. He saved my dad’s life. There was no coverage at the hospital I went to. They called Dr. Nordness in the middle of the night and he came in and literally saved my dad’s life. He was so kind and explained everything in great detail. My family and I are very grateful to Dr. Nordness. Most surgeons not on call would not have answered the phone. He is a hero.
If I could do ZERO stars that would be much better. Dr Nordness was on call last weekend for the ER at GRMC. My husband was seen in the ER on Friday. We were sent by our primary Doctor after 2 hr in her office trying to get to the bottom of his severe symptoms. She felt he needed CT scan and additional diagnostics to explain his high fever and abdominal pain. We spent 8 hrs in ER and Dr there said it was severe Gallbladder disease. Dr Nordress has done more than one surgery on me. I would use him again and recommend him to others. He puts you at ease and answers all your questions so you understand. Office staff are always polite and helpful and cheerful.
Have used Dr. Nordness for two procedures and their follow-up since my cancer diagnosis. He explained things completely, gave thorough examinations, was polite but personable.
