I traveled out of state to see and be treated by Dr. Magtibay. Best decision ever. My surgical case was more complicated because of my previous surgeries. I had gone to Mayo Clinic and was referred to Dr. Magtibay as he is known for working on more complex cases. I cannot recommend Dr. Magtibay. While he did a fine job handling my surgery, he made careless mistakes in my surgery notes, which I had to have the head of the gyn department, Dr. Wasson, correct. At nine weeks post op, I needed follow up care for a suture that had shifted and was stabbing into my surgical site. Dr. Magtibay said he would tell me what he was doing before doing it during this appointment, but he didn’t follow through. I had a rockstar surgeon who had a tragic accident. His name was Dr. Guzman (including the name in case others are in my shoes). I was actually really scared to be without him for my hysterectomy as we had been through a lot with our doctor. Dr. Magtibay did a wonderful job & I would recommend him to anyone searching to be great hands. My recovery has gone so smoothly & it was comforting to be with an expert in the field.
