I never write reviews, but felt I needed to after this visit. I took my son in for a simple visit. He was cold, not friendly, and very confusing. I usually get my discharge paperwork before I leave, I didn’t get it until 35 hours later, not a huge deal, but odd. He never did a physical on my son, listen to his heart, look in his ears, etc. Any dr I go to they will do this as a bare minimum for any apt. It seemed very rushed and like an inconvenience to him. Great Doctor! My girls felt very comfortable with Doctor Kanaby he was incredibly supportive and considerate.
Careless provider. Didn’t care to listen to my concerns regarding my son. As parents we know our children best and he based his assessment off 5 minutes he was with my son. Due to his lack of caring and listening, I had to take my son BACK to the pediatrician the SAME day. My son DID have pneumonia like I asked Kanaby to check for but kanaby refused and brushed it off as viral. Do better. I give you 0 stars if I could.
After trying several Pediatricians for 2 years finally!! A kind, competent, and thorough doctor. He is wonderful listener to ALL concerns, he did not interrupt me or rush me out. Thank you Dr. Kanaby for being an invested medical professional that puts families first. I would not recommend anyone else in the Spring, Woodlands area.
Dr. Kanaby listens incredibly well to our comments and concerns and shows a genuine desire to get to know his patients. He is warm, kind, unhurried, very knowledgeable, and like he says on his Kelsey- Seybold video, he wants to eliminate outdated and unnecessary medications his patients are taking, which I think all doctors should consider but don't always. Amazing, amazing doctor. I really can't say enough.
