We were very happy with how he took care of my father the last time he was hospitalized, so much so we changed to him as dad's PCP HOWEVER, my father needed a feeding tube. They thought he had a GI bleed so they kept shutting the tube and the IV off, standard protocol, They ran tests and never found a cause for the bleed. My dad has been in the hospital 4 different times and spent a week in an assisted care facility. To say we have had our fair share of doctor interactions is an extreme understatement. We started counting the number of times he was almost killed due to doctors not bothering to listen and examine all the facts ( we're up to 9).
