Do your research before you choose Dr. Favorito, a Christ Hospital Physician, for your reverse shoulder surgery. Two years after Dr. Favorito performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on me, within which he “nicked” the axillary vein and damaged the axillary nerve which activates the deltoid muscle, I remain in constant pain and am unable to raise my arm to shoulder height. His attitude has a lot to be desired. his bedside manor needs retraining. I would not recommend him to anyone.

After 55 years of a very active life, I had sprained my shoulder many times, finally culminating with a dislocated shoulder after a trip and hard landing while running with my dog in the woods. This caused extreme pain, and I couldn’t use that arm at all. After an MRI, Dr. Favorito told me I had front and rear labral tears.
