Had a very good visit with Dr Figel. He was thorough and responsive to my questions. Medical student Abby was also very good and took time to review my comments. We had a good discussion and she listened very well to my concerns.

Definitely cannot recommend this doctor. Especially not to any women identifying or overweight patients. I had a consult maybe 2 years ago with Doctor Figel and to this day, still have not forgotten that meeting, even though I wish I could. Every concern I had was overwritten by male privilege. I had concerns on my birth control, hormones, and weight. Only to be told i needed to eat 1200 calories for the rest of my life and that there “isn’t a test that measures hormone levels.” Wild how the next doctor I saw was able to run... read more
