Very nice staff and doctors
My 80 yr old, visually disabled (aka blind) mother saw Dr. Elliot on 6/3/24. He recommended she try Rivastigmine 4.6mg/24HR patches for her cognition challenges. My mother had tried 2 other oral medications but both gave her horrible nightmares. Humana, denied her prior authorization on 6/13/24 and again on 6/27/24 repeatedly telling Dr. Elliots prior authorization team that they had to list the medications she had tried and the side effects she experienced. How can a physician abandon their patient?! I have seen Dr Elliott twice, in the fall of 22 and 23, when I returned to Florida for the winter. I had intended to see him again this past April before leaving, but his office called to reschedule, after the date when I planned to leave FL. When it came time to get a prescription renewed, from my prior neurologist, Dr Elliott refused, indicating since I had not seen him in over 6 months, “I was no longer in his care.” What was I to do?! I have been going to see Dr. Elliott for nearly a year now. He has never given up on me as I am very sensitive to most meds due mostly for taking blood thinners. I would highly recommend Dr. Elliott. He never rushes and really listens. I have fibromyalgia and there is no cure yet. Still working on finding the one medication that works for me. Thank you Dr. Elliott.
