Our first appointment was a virtual appointment during COVID so it was less than optimal. Subsequent appointments I realized that he is extremely knowledgeable and his mind is always working on finding answers and solutions. This can make him seem somewhat aloof but I have found him to actually be very caring. I appreciate his knowledgeable and constant searching for answers and better treatment options.
Dr. Later was horrific. He knows how to play it safe in the beginning. However, that did not last long. He should be the first one to know how difficult it is being diagnosed with Epilepsy. I had heard it was possible to get your license back with a doctor's note. And while I was upset understandably, he got up and told me "I wasn't in the right state of mind" and accused me of asking him to do something illegal....which I didn't even know before that day so I am unsure how I could have asked him to do something illegal. Dr. Later was extremely helpful. Anything with the brain can be so scary and he really made sure to take the time and fully explain in detail so I understood. I really appreciated his knowledge and the time he took to make sure I felt like I understood. I look forward to working with Dr. later in the future!
Dr. Later takes his time at every apt. And is very detailed with plan of care. Also reviews all meds to discuss how they may need adjusting, etc for better outcomeOur dad has complex blood pressure issues and stroke survivor, and Dr. Later has helped in ways other has with introducing new drugs and treatment ideas.
