Dr. K didn’t take my condition seriously after finding out I smoke. I felt dismissed and mocked when he said “let me guess you take IBUPROFEN?” Was denied help and instructed to get acupuncture and water therapy for numbness and drop foot (SI joint dysfunction and L4- S1 issues). I started crying and he rushed me out and told his staff “Why do they keep sending me these, I hate people like that”. The staff laughed and all I could think is: well we hate you too!! Dr. Kaloostian did my fusion over 10 years ago. He helped me to walk again. When I saw him for consultation again, he was a totally different person. He did not do an exam. He was sarcastic, condescending, and was gaslighting me about the scans and my symptoms- which are severe and alarming. I really needed his expertise. I paid $350 to see him because he’s out of network. He’s also far from me so it was a complete waste of time. Very disappointed but mostly sad about how he changed.
