Top notch, caring, always available and reasonably priced. After trust is built you may be able to set visits two months apart. Mine have been for a year. He calls himself a consultant that works for the patient giving advoce and guidance.

Dr. Capriotti is intelligent, experienced, and compassionate. I feel lucky I found him. He diagnosed and prescribed just what was needed to help my son's condition improve. His staff has also been very welcoming, friendly and supportive, willing to help in whatever way needed. I trust Dr. Capriotti and the rest of his staff in every respect.
Dr Capriotti has been a god send to me. Ive been seeing him for the past 3 years, and he has helped me through 2 traumas in my life. I feel he actually listens to what Im saying, and gives his input accordingly. Would highly recommend him to someone looking for a new Dr of Psychiatry.
He listens! He's patient in his approach and works with me, so I feel as if my treatment is very much a partnership. Because of this, I trust his judgement. He makes me feel like an individual, not just another patient.
In my time with Capriotti I was over prescribed drugs anything to keep me calm. I am bi-polar with a anxiety disorder. He gave me a drug by the name Zyprexa. He did not warn of the side effects. Which are weight gain and diabetes. In six months he never checked or asked me to check my weight. I thought the weight was my way of coping with my illness. Then I was rushed to the ER for my blood sugar. Normal is under 100 mine was over 1500 and ended with me being in the hospital for 9 days.
