If you are in to stargazing, this organization's open house events are for you. There were members with their telescopes and of course the big 24" one in an impressive set up
We saw Jupiter and 4 moons, plus galxies and other features, it was awesome and I learned a lot. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, l recommend it if you are in town for the open house. Check the Facebook page to make sure.
Great place to visit, especially if you are a star, planet, night sky gazer. Somewhat disappointed on our night as it was a cloudy night. They do have back up plans for those cloudy nights if you make reservations. A true dark sky area. You will enjoy.
