Great doctor! Easy to talk to explains everything. Would defiantly recommend him.
Would give more stars if I could. I have seen Dr. Carey multiple time for multiple issues and his diagnoses and treatments were always perfect. He never pushed surgery and I tried conservative treatments until they stopped being effective--then I had the surgery which went perfectly--I have full use and no more pain, numbness, or cramping. Excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable--he listens and takes time with patients--very thorough. Highly recommend!
For the best orthopedic hand doctor, look no further then Dr. Paul Carey, Optum, in the Dutchess County NY area. Dr. Carey & his staff are incredibly thorough in their exams. Answer all questions in a non hurried manner. You can sense their concern for you as a person & patient. Thank you Dr. Carey for giving me back pain free mobility in my right wrist. Dr.C set my broken wrist in a cast. I continued to visit him to discuss the progress of the injury however on my second to last appointment there was a large shift. He entered the appointment incredibly concerned about my prognosis if we do not proceed with surgery, I said I’d think about it and monitor how the wrist is feeling and touch base next appointment. the last appointment I had with doctor Carey was incredibly concerning as a patient.
