My meeting with Dr. Alappat was short and dismissive. I have a history of heart issues and passed out a week ago. I was referred to him by the ER. During this appointment he was dismissive and said passing out was normal, to walk more and drink water to stay hydrated. After pressing that this was not normal, and my symptoms were worsening, he remained firm that I should walk more (despite explaining that causes me to get lightheaded) and drink more water. Find another doctor if you don't want to be dismissed.
