I just completed my first visit to Patti’s and I will definitely be back! I own an older (much older) vehicle that many places simply will not service. Patti’s was not only willing, but seemed happy to work on an older vehicle. They were very thorough in checking out all critical systems and offered realistic advice about necessary repairs versus things to be aware of and keep an eye on. Patti's has been my go to shop for 20+ years. I no longer live in Berkeley, but the hastle of navigating the 15 miles of traffic is well worth it for the honest (sometimes brutally honest) service recommendations which are reasonably priced. Best part of Patti's honesty and expertise is she knows with certainty what is an absolute, what is necessary soon and what is a nice to fix item. They never upsell. I went in to have Freon put into my air condition but they found out there were a couple leaks so I didn’t have the work done, but I really appreciate the informative information and their honesty and patience. Because I live in the neighborhood and their shop is convenient Will definitely return for car service in the future
