I have used wood pellets for cat litter for the past 20 years. I can across Peterson heating pellets from Menards which they have never sold before. They are by far the best wood pellets I have ever used . They absorbed the urine so good there is absolutely no smell at all. They are not chemically treated making it safe for your cat. The only problem is finding this product since they are out of Texas and I am in Iowa.
Worst pellets I have ever purchased they are made of pine wood and put out very low HEAT and they do not slide down the hopper box. They also charge high price for them as like they are hardwood never will I waste my money on this product again.
