Equipment was marginally safe to work on. Most managers were decent, however lacked good human decency and understanding. Equipment was not weathered sufficiently to work comfortably in the harsh winters in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and North Dakota where I worked at. I’ve drilled all over the world and Patterson UTI weren’t into being safety minded as it could’ve been.
