Went to another dentist previously, and had terrible pain from a filling they put in at that other dental office. I didn't want to go back there after two more appointments there where they told me it was just sensitive from having a filling, so I called Patterson and asked if they could take a look and give a second opinion. When I called to make my children’s appointments, I specifically asked if you take Anthem. I was told “Yes,” so I scheduled the visits based on that information. What I was not told is that while you take Anthem, you are actually out of network. That is a very important distinction, and I wish it had been communicated upfront.
