We hired them to build a home for us. They have left the job 50% completed and not paid their vendors which are now trying to place liens.
Patterson advertises his homes as 'custom', but they are rarely that. He builds the same plans over and over with minor elevation changes. Also, I was very surprised to find cheap electrical fixtures from Lowes in his $500k+ homes. There is very little custom about these homes. Our neighbors is almost an exact replica as ours. It is also seemingly common knowledge that he doesn't pay his bills in a timely manner and subcontractors are regularly in the arears.
As realtor, I have worked with Patterson Custom Builders many times and have enjoyed the experience every time. Their attention to detail and working well with buyers is second to none. I highly recommend Patterson!
