I went with an obvious gay friend. After we ate they claim to need the table and asked as to sit at the bar where they jacked up our drinks prices. Otherwise a very nice place great staff. good food.

Since 1944. Simply put, great Italian food! I have been coming to Patsy's Italian Restaurant for 50+ years. Not pizza... Real authentic Italian food.

My wife and I had our first experience at Patsy's and we were looking forward to it. We made reservations early as it was on a Saturday and we went after a Broadway matinee show. We were greeted warmly at the entrance and checked our coats. How great it was to sit in a restaurant during the fall and not have to wrestle with a jacket or coat or walk by tables without having to mambo around the coats of other guests. Superb – Came here as a team holiday lunch today. It's a huge menu with a lot of options. To make the decision easier, I opted for the $35 prixe fixe lunch menu. The table olive oil was very good with the bread. The soup of the day was minestrone. It was a bit oilier than I expected. I had the Rigatoni Sorrentino as my main. It was DELICIOUS! Horrible place to eat – I was really looking forward to a good Italian meal on this trip to NYC. However, Patsy's did not fill the bill. It was way over priced. The service was poor and the food wasn't even that great. The string beans were mushy (obviously from a can). The salmon was very very hot which led me to believe that it was microwaved. The head waiter was very "snuty" and wouldn't even let me wear my coat in the dinning room. I will never go back to this restaurant. For two people the bill was over $100.

Patsy's Italian Restaurant is awful yikes....bad food, bad service and bad waiter - three strikes and you are out!!! the food was mediocre, the waiter did not know that we existed and trying to order was a joke since the man did not seem to know or care what the restaurant served. i would tell you that the $150 we spent would have been far better spent at Olive Garden....NYC has way too many great Italian restaurants to waste your time on this joynt.

Stunning – We had a great last night here. The food was first class and the waiters are so old school with their uniforms and standards. I loved the sweet trolley which I haven't seen for years in a restaurant. Loved it and will definitely return next trip.
