Staff and locals alike were super helpful and welcoming. There are 5 in our party and we all enjoyed the fossicking and lunch afterward. We spent about 3 hrs total and had fun in the process. Definitely recommend a visit to Pats for your sapphire sourcing and good Tucker! The food servings are very generous.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An amazing experience from start to finish! Dave took so much time to patiently explain how sapphire fossicking works and also shared fascinating stories about the history of the area. You can really feel the passion and care that goes into everything they do. After I finished, Dave kindly checked through my bucket again and even found a few more sapphires. Bought a bucket of wash to take home, maybe more of a experience for the family & if your looking for a stone for a custom ring. Cafe isn’t for fussy eaters.

Fantastic friendly service and welcoming atmosphere! We arrive without a booking and got offered a fossicking bucket for our family to share quickly. Was a good hall that entertained the kids.

Great place. Hubby and I had so much fun. Found so many sapphires which was a bonus. It was more the fun of the search. Total newbies at this. Brendan showed us what to do, made sure we were doing it and helped find sapphires we missed. So so so much fun we went back the next day and did it all again and will go another time. Did get busy in it 2nd day. Brendan always returned to check on us and see if we needed help. Food was stunning and delicious, shop was great, varied and priced well.
