Great place. Hubby and I had so much fun. Found so many sapphires which was a bonus. It was more the fun of the search. Total newbies at this. Brendan showed us what to do, made sure we were doing it and helped find sapphires we missed. So so so much fun we went back the next day and did it all again and will go another time. Fantastic friendly service and welcoming atmosphere! We arrive without a booking and got offered a fossicking bucket for our family to share quickly. Was a good hall that entertained the kids.

Pat was very informative for new fossickers. Great local knowledge to explore The Gemfields, great way to spend a couple of hours on your way thru the area.

Great place to bring the kids on school holidays. Had a lot of fun fossicking with the family and the cafe food was pretty good too. The ham and cheese toasted sandwich was cooked to perfection with quality leg ham and properly melted cheese! Staff were helpful, friendly, and informative. Very relaxed atmosphere and location. Worth a look for a bit of messy fun and an easy feed.

I had a fabulous visit to Pat’s which began with a delicious date scone and ended with stacks of sapphires. Had a blast and Rosa was amazing! She demonstrated so patiently and then checked my stash! Very happy 😊
