Get a firm quote in writing before leaving anything there for service. The charged me double the quoted price because it took them 3 months to get around to my work, and they wanted storage fees while I was waiting on them to do the work! Buyer beware! Oh yeah, if you ask questions about the bill, you will be caused out and threatened. So get a signed quote so there is no question about your bill
I took my early 80's 50 horse Johnson to get a new water pump (Weak stream) they told me my motor was shot. I never had a problem with it. They then sold me two motors, a1976 Johnson 70 horse and a early 80 10 horse merc. Well BOTH ENGINES WORKED FOR two outings and died on Me ,BOTH. Had problems from day one with them . They treated me like I was the problem not the motors they sold me. Worst service experience of my life. Good luck your gonna need it.
