Since Shapiro Insurance and Patriot Insurance merged, customer service and follow-through has fallen off somewhat. The main menu when reached by phone often routes existing client calls to voicemail. And the main email address for Patriot seems to not be monitored regularly. Getting live support and help can be challenging.
fortunately, we have never had to experience filing a claim in our over 20 years of being a client, but we have had dealings re flood insurance and fema options and our agent Tania Arbelaez has performed admirably doing research and giving us the best available advice. we recommend them highly for anyone searching for a reliable responsive insurance company. and no, in case you're wondering this is NOT a compensated review.
These people sell the most expensive policies to make higher commissions. Stay away!!!
I have had my rental policy with Shapiro for several years now, since my previous insurance agency was consolidated with them.
