One of the cables on my garage door broke. Patriots Garage Door came out on Sunday morning to fix the cable. He replaced cables and pulleys on both sides of the door ($375) and was ready to go, when I noticed that the safety cable through the spring was no longer there (it was the cable attached to pulley that broke, not the safety cable). One morning as my husband was pulling out of the driveway and closing the garage, I heard a loud crash; great garage door is broken. I went out to look and I noticed that the cords on the side were unwound, did a couple of Google searches trying to fix it myself to no avail. We scheduled a replacement of our garage door opener with Patriot Garage Door. David arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with our old opener and offered to repair it for about 25% of the quoted price for replacement. This type of honesty is very rare these days, offering the customer a solution at a fraction of the cost. We had him replace the entire unit anyway as the original was over 20 years old. Patriot Garage Door was fast, efficient, and affordable... they came out within 24 hours of my request and solved the problem without having to break or damage anything. I was thoroughly impressed with the work ethic and courtesy. As a note my garage door keypad had failed and I couldn't find my remote as well but the team at Patriot Garage Door solved the issue and replaced both the keypad and remote.
