We recently completed a free home insulation through Patriot Energy Solutions. This free program is through the NYSERDA/ EMPOWER PROGRAM. The approval process went pretty quickly and it takes about a month after the approval to get the appointment to begin the work. The team was prompt and professional. The process was explained again and what it would entail. DO NOT USE Patriot Energy (NYserda) If you're considering Patriot Energy for any NYSERDA energy work -- run the other way! This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any company, period. First, they send random, unqualified workers who make holes in your walls, leave them unsealed, and stink up your entire house with cigarette smoke.
