I asked a friend who lives close to San Antonio for a reference to a shop he had faith in a few years ago. He referred me to Patriot Automotive. I went and had what was needed done and didn't go back as it was far from me even though they were great. A couple of years later I had a check engine light come on and no one could agree what it was. I went back to Patriot and they said it's 1 of 2 things and we can't be sure which until we get started. Great communication. They will give you the information you need to make a decision based on your needs/budget. They tell you what you need, and also what they would do if in your position, explaining possibility vs probability of parts failure, and its consequences. Or maybe that’s how they treat me because the owner is a Marine, as am I, and I tell him to skip the BS and be straight with me. (Se habla Español, todo mocho, pero se entiende.)
