I left a review previously but would like to retract it. If you want a know-it-all doctor who doesn't listen to you and is passive aggressive, then Dr. Lay is the one for you. Had an issue with my stomach. He didn't know how to diagnose and said go see a specialist. I told him it happened very suddenly and feel like some kind of bug. He did not give any medication. Dr. Lay as my primary physician for over 20 years. And there is a reason for that Trust an honest and ethical doctor who cares about his patients. I trust him with all my medical issues. He explains to me what is going on. Dr. Lay is a good Doctor.

I've been using Dr. Lay as my primary physician for over 20 years. And there is a reason for that. Trust. My brother and father also use him as their primary physician. I would recommend Dr. Lay to anyone who needs to find that caring doctor that listens to your needs and provides the highest level of service. I moved away from Skokie for 10 years and made over one hour trips to make sure I saw him vs. some other doctor. I'm very thankful for him as is my family.
Dr. Lay is an honest and ethical doctor who cares about his patients. I trust him with all my medical issues. He explains to me what is going on and what I need to do. My medical issues have increased as I got older and Dr. Lay has been there to take care of me. Although I worry about my conditions from time to time, I'm at ease because I know I'm in good hands. Thank you Dr. Lay.
He was not comforting. Felt like he didn't want to be there. Very cold. I didn't feel comfortable at all. I do not recommended him. The way he was asking me questions was so rude. I was there for help and to feel healthy. I left with stress and can't stop thinking about how he is suppose to help and be informative. I went in with symptoms and been feeling very off.
