At the beginning of my second visit, he began berating me in a very angry tone for "approaching the receptionist from the back." She's in an open space and as I came in her back was to me. He could have just let me know the reception was upset about my behavior but his reaction was completely out of proportion to any offense. He also called me a "femanazi." I'm not even use what that means. If he blows up about something like this, I would not trust him about anything. And name calling is never appropriate for a therapist.

Dr. O'connell is a kind, patient, experienced, and understanding therapist. He is very good at listening an reflecting back what you said as a patient. I feel safe and not judged by Dr. O'connell. I have been able to make large changes in my life because of the support he has offered. I am very lucky and grateful to find the doctor. He is very good at what he does, and I feel so much better after our sessions. I highly recommend this doctor. I hope others can find a doctor like this one.

Dr. O'Connell The receptionists were abrupt. The waiting area was cavernous and cold. The psychologist was very disappointing. He talked to me as though I have an IQ of 70. That's just my experience.
