Patrick is an amazing musician. His performances are not only worth watching but worth watching again and again. His passion for the art comes through in everything he plays. There are people who can play and there are people who make their instrument sing. Patrick has the rare gift and talent to do both incredibly well. The DSO should put this guy in their lineup. He’s the real deal and a frontman in his own right.

I’ve toured all over North America with Patrick, and I’ve never met a stronger lead trumpet player nor a more dedicated professional musician. No-one else I’ve ever played with can match his strength, clarity and phrasing on the instrument, or his passion for excellence, and he’s a joy to work with. Great guy, great performer.

Patrick Hession is one of the best trumpet players any where.His professional credentials are terrifc featuring stints as lead trumpet with the legendary Glenn Miller orchestra and a long affiliation with the great Maynard Ferguson.He also is a top drawer educator and has authored some excellent books on the art of trumpet playing.He is personable, proefessional,and a fine communicator.He works very well with kids of all ages.He makes everyone in the room better.I would without hesitation, recommend Patrick Hession as a perf... read more
