I'm sorry to say it, but because PHC continues to be unable to acquire regional accreditation (something they've "been close" to getting for at least 15 years, or so I was told by the admission department as a prospective student in 2005), their degrees are not worth the money you pay for them nor the time you spend. As an alumni, I know multiple fellow alumni who have had to go do their BA all over from scratch because they wanted to pursue a career or a masters program and the lack of a truly accredited degree was a roadbl... read more

Hi, Erin. It sounds as though you may have experienced some difficulty regarding your particular credits. Please reach out to the Registrar to advocate for you. They have much success and graduates are routinely matriculating into the nation's most prestigious graduate schools. Secondly, let me suggest that you view our Accreditation video as it explains the importance that a college be accountable to an accrediting body, however, often these regionally-accrediting bodies now operate in capacities that are far removed from t... read more

There is one PHC and there should be 10, maybe 100. Could you possibly have too many institutions of higher learning that are commissioned to teach the best and brightest -noble and virtuous principles of excellence, citizenship and upstanding moral character? Many colleges and universities can teach skills - yet precious few are investing in the hearts and minds of students to utilize those skills for what is good and true like Patrick Henry College. Their bold decision to Forego public funding demonstrates their courage an... read more

Amazing Christ Centered and academically rigorous program that is intentional in training young minds to impact the world for Christ. Mentorship, fellowship, and apprenticeships all work synergistically to equip disciples whose purpose and passion are to serve and glorify God vocationally and relationally.

You have a "Mental Health Therapist" on staff that pushes the dangerous methods of conversion therapy? Wow. Guess what, Chris is still gay. Sad thing is people that repress their own true self often act out and hurt others.

Excellent academics, fantastic faculty & staff, challenges you to unite your faith with your reason... College is a opportunity for intellectual and spiritual growth and PHC provides students amazing opportunities to grow. The older I become, the more I appreciate and value my education, friendships, and growth experienced at PHC. I'm honored to be part of the PHC alumni network!
