I've been seeing Dr. Graham for over 10 years. He listens, makes a plan and follows up. His PA and staff are friendly and helpful. They are a team. He treats the condition holistically: the symptoms, the actual problem, plus the mental and emotional stress which accompany IC. He stays current with research and discusses all options with me. As the patient, I must do my part, follow the plan, and the pain can be controlled.
Matthew Rogers is an exceptional physician and one by whom I think other doctors should be judged. By scheduling fewer patients, he always has time to thoroughly listen to whatever concerns I might have. He had to tell me I had cancer, but calmly and compassionately told me all the specifics -- thankfully it doesn't need treatment yet -- and gave me a good strategy looking forward. I had an incredibly disheartening experience with Dr. Vassar. His bedside manner was shockingly poor, marked by crude language and a condescending tone that left me feeling belittled and disrespected as a patient. To my dismay, he resorted to fat-shaming, despite the fact that my health issue had nothing to do with my weight.
