Dr. Matthews is great. I have a 2 year old and a nine month old. Dr. Matthews always answers my questions, no matter how ridiculous they seem. She is also very good about talking about medical conditions in easy to understand terms. My favorite quality about Dr. Matthews is her genuine concern for my children and their well being. I have always felt that she has their best interest 100% in mind even if it means telling me things I do not want to hear.
I absolutely love Doctor Matthews. She has been my children's doctor since they were very little Andrea my oldest is now 18. I would recommender to anyone. If you had a bad experience I suggest try her again. She's is an amazing doctor
Totally agree with the one who left one star review. She is very impatient with us, luckily she is not our primary care physician. She made very curt diagnosis without thorough checking. She does not explain things clearly, and made parents very nervous.
We had to see Dr. Matthews in an acute situation because our regular doctor was not in. Dr. Matthews did not take her time with my then 4-month old. She was very abrupt and made me feel like it was my fault my daughter had an ear infection and fever - it was NOT. Her bedside manner was terrible. My daughter got very upset with Dr. Matthews. I left feeling helpless and my daughter was upset on top of her fever and ear infection. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Our normal doctor is wonderful!
