Openly admitted he did not review my chart before my new patient visit.He did not do any physical exam at all. Very dismissive and was clearly annoyed that ochsner moved my scheduled my appointment to an earlier date because they had a cancelation. I've been seen by 4 doctors all of them said I needed an EP specialist. I have liver disease episodes of tachycardia and bradycardia and extremely low blood pressure. Very very pleased
I've never walked out of a doctors appointment in my life till today with this Doctor. She dismissed me 4 times and talked over me twice. She lived on a airstream with her boyfriend for the last few years, worked at the VA and her family is republican. I should not know any of this on our 1st meeting, this is about my mental health and what's going on with me. She made me feel like my descriptions of symptoms were invalid regarding my panic attacks symptoms. Triggering and unprofessional.
I was sick yesterday and my own doctor wasn’t available. Andrea came in telling me that she was getting over the flu. I said well I hope I don’t have that and her response was “well even if you did go waited 3 days to come in I can’t help you”. So off putting.. Dr. Africk treated my son years ago.She is a wonderful doctor. All questions were answered and always followed up with results.He is an adult now and he would be a patient for the rest of his life if she also treated adults.I would like to refer her a friend but I can’t seem to find her.No longer at Oschner.If anyone knows where she is practicing please email me at edwardsdio79@gmail. comThanks

Very knowledgeable and skilled doctor in neurosurgery! He is very busy and must rely on his PA’s for follow ups but communication seems to be very good among their team. Highly recommend!!
