Patricia helped me many years ago, and as I happened to be at a time of my life in which I reflect on my past and all the grief I used to experience; it's impossible not to think of this professional and the incredible help she offered into freeing me from anxiety, hypochondria and panic attacks. I think it is important to wait until a few visits have gone by before you review a therapist. So far, I've had three visits with Dr. Whitt and I anticipate having more. I like her intelligence, sense of humor, pragmatism and open-mindedness. At the first visit I told her some things that were important to me and she demonstrated her respect by actively following up, doing research on her own time and suggesting useful resources relevant to my situation. I chose a few therapists to call for a consult. Patricia was in the bunch. When I called her, she was pleasant and even gave me advice as to my goals for therapy, which would help me to ask the right questions and to find a good match. She gave me lots of great information on the different modes of therapy. She was not sure if she was a good match and she gave me a few names too.
