I have been a patient of Dr. Close for over 20 years now. I highly recommend her. She has always been extremely professional and has provided me with incredible care over the years. Even after moving an hour away from her location I still choose to have her as my primary OBGYN.
Good evening Dr. Close made space for my appointment kindly, due to my nervous urgency about my condition . During my visit she was clear and knowledgeable about my issue, her ability to explain and remedy my ailment was an answered prayer for my self and my husband . i would highly recommend her. I am very surprised by these negative reviews. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Close. My regular OB was out of the office so I saw Dr. Close instead. She was kind, thorough, informed and had an excellent bedside manner. She knew I was a little nervous and put me at ease immediately, could not have been nicer, and answered all of my questions. Absolutely lovely and very bright MD.
Dr. Close's professional behavior leaves much to be desired. Rather than discussing test results and a life altering diagnosis with me personally, she had her nurse leave me a voice message instructing me to see her in several months. She herself never phoned to discuss the diagnosis and inquire into whether I had any questions or concerns. This reflects the manner in which she treated me during the actual appointment. I will not be returning to this practice. I would not give any stars if I could.
