Absolutely fantastic walk. You will be walking next to the Hawkesbury, with uninterrupted views, and many cliff edge lookouts to stop by and enjoy. Just note that it is a little steep, just take it easy and rest frequently. Also, the entrance at Patonga can be flooded during high tide, so your shoes may get wet.
For me this was a great walk but with three children I would suggest waiting until they are ten plus (especially in the rain)
