The doctor lacks bed-side manner. He is rude and cold, he does not know how to deliver hard information properly. He does not follow up. My father had an eye stroke and the doctor did NOTHING except tell my father to follow up with his family doctor- oh and they did not send the report to his doctor, our family doctor called this clinic multiple times to get the report so my father can get the proper medial care- because it is not from this place. I wish I could give less than 1 star. You should be ashamed.
The doctor is good but I can't support the office policies. Eye doctors are supposed to be an ally for the visually impaired community. When someone needs a one page paper stating their diagnosis for their disability accommodations in post-secondary, it shouldn't cost $150. The Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Ontario Medical Association suggest $30. at the most if there is going to be a fee. Leaving a review for my mom since she is not tech savvy. My mom had cataract surgery with Dr Patodia and her experience was very unprofessional, after she had her cataract surgery she was having issues with her eye watering and sore. After a checkup Dr Patodia only told her it was "perfect", 2 months after the surgery she was still having the same issues and was taking normal eye drops which did not help so she called back only to get Dr Patodia's wife who was very rude to her and then told my mom she was scheduled for laser... read more
My father went to Patodia Eye Institute a few times. We had some concerns before and saw the past reviews . My father done Cataract Surgery there especially last visit in Dec 2025. It was Lazer cleaning up the Proteins in his eyes. Then next day my father felt his eyes very clearly. His vision has been improved ever than before !! He is very happy Yes the place was crowded in some visits and required some waited time. As read in previous reviews, this institute is ALL about $$$. The doctor is very cold, unfriendly and tries to sway you towards his self-pay laser surgeries. If you want to experience a “factory” assembly line then go here!
