No we would never recommend him! He was recommended for my wife. He operates and runs, she had a major problem from the surgery he did. He blew my wife off and because of his ignorance my poor wife is permanently disabled and in more pain from this guy!! Doctors can not believe him, we are disgusted by his actions as well as U of M as a hospital, bad!!! Patil you know what you did, you sent us to doctors who blew her off. This Dr is into experimental procedures he does not truly care of the outcome of the patient…unbelievable he is allowed to practice.
He did my brain surgery in 2009. Very patient focused, compassionate and communicative. Very experienced and explains what he recommends and why but treats the patient like part of the team. Highly recommended.
