As a longstanding member since 1964 and having had numerous investments and mortgages through AWCU, known as Pathwise Credit Union, it is difficult to fathom the deteriorated mortgage service of today. I went to Pathwise in August 2024 to apply for a mortgage loan armed with all the normally required information including an excellent credit report, three years of income verification and a copy of my property evaluation, which they already had on file. What a truly awful experience attempting to get a loan with this place. First off, their computers being down constantly does not inspire confidence. Why would I want to do business with a bank in 2024 that is taking down my information with pen and paper like it's 1924? The loan advisor had ZERO customer service skills and only seemed interested in reasons why I might not qualify for the loan. Within a few minutes of meeting this most unhelpful and unfriendly loan advisor I knew I wouldn't be doing business with this place.... read more
I moved out of the area so had to close my accounts at Pathwise. I dealt with Sandra and Steve. Excellent people who know their banking! Thanks Sandra for the extra assistance today, tracking down deposits!!
