Can’t get anyone to answer the phone to make an appointment
This would probably be my go to place any time I'm suicidal again. Its amazing. You see a doctor daily and the environment is amazing. You can watch tv,or play board games or cards all day. You can literally sit on a phone call with someone all day,as long as you want. You can be in your room too all you want and relax,sleep more of you want. I went tonight to try to receive help with my alcohol addiction and I was turned away. Absolutely unheard of and very discouraging to someone who wants help. I’ve heard of rehabs turning you away because they don’t have beds, but to tell someone seeking help that they’re not in crisis, when they’re literally ruining their own life is ridiculous. I guess you have to go up there extremely drunk or high in order to get the help you need.
The environment and the staff were great during my stay. I will say that the communication could be a bit better because I didn’t know I was discharging until the last minute but other than that I have no complaints.
